theGuide.LGBT Inc. is now a recognized organization in the state of a Wisconsin! After a few pages of paperwork, hiring some lawyers, and waiting for the government, we received our congratulatory email telling us we are official.
Our next steps are to begin our filing process with the IRS to become a 501(c)(3) organization. If approved, this will allow us to accept charitable donations, become tax exempt, and begin expanding our organization. For now, please join us in celebrating this milestone. Without the support we received so far, none of this would have been possible.
